Agfa receives three awards for digital printing in the EDP Awards – covering printing inks, coatings and related industries

The European Digital Press Association has recognized three Agfa innovations introduced in 2021: the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS LED large-format hybrid printing press, the InterioJet water-based decorative paper printing press for surfaces laminates and the Alussa leather printing system.

It was the 11th consecutive time that Afa has been recognized for its innovative power by the European Digital Press Association (EDP).

The Agfa printing solutions awarded this year are:
• The Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS LED in the category “Large format and large format printing – flatbed/hybrid printers with a print speed greater than 250 m²/hour”. The Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS is the latest ‘ultra-fast’ version of Agfa’s flagship inkjet press. It is a 3.3m workhorse for sign and display printing applications as well as corrugated printing applications, combining quality with production speed of up to at 600 m²/h and state-of-the-art automation.
• The InterioJet 3300 in the “Industrial Printing and Finishing Solutions” category. The InterioJet 3300 is a multi-pass inkjet system that uses Agfa’s eco-friendly water-based inks for small to medium runs of decor paper for laminate surfaces. As a digital printing system, the InterioJet overcomes the limitations of gravure printing, since it is not limited by cylinder length or ink set, and thus enables fully patterned printing. personalized and non-repetitive for each order.
• Alussa Leather Printing Ink in the “Industrial Inks” category. EDP ​​praised the Alussa ink, which “can print on leather on an industrial scale. The printing is done in full color plus white, which gives a reliable result even on colored leather.
