Presort, Inc., a direct mail and printing company, purchased PDQ Quality Printing in Cape Girardeau.
The acquisition of PDQ is more than just an expansion of Presort into southeast Missouri, said Jeromy Fritz, co-owner and president of Presort. The company also continues the four decades of experience and trust built by former PDQ owners, Raymond and Cathy LeGrand.
“It’s a responsibility to the community that Presort doesn’t take lightly,” Fritz said. “We plan to continue operating the same way, in the same location, with the same great service and prices that Raymond and Cathy have been offering for years.”

Since 1981, PDQ Printing has been a key member of the business community, designing business cards, letterhead and trifold brochures for other businesses large and small.
Fritz promises the focus on personal service will continue under PDQ chief executive Mark Evans.
“It’s been a great process watching our PDQ team grow, while integrating the business into our overall business strategy,” Fritz said.
Presort has been a member of the southeastern Missouri community since opening Presort South, its direct mail marketing site, in 2018. The purchase and renovation of the location on S. Plaza Way allowed Presort to combine the decades of experience of PDQ staff with up-to-date printing technology.
“Staying diverse and relevant while reinvesting in our business has been very important to our success,” Fritz said.
Presort received the Better Business Bureau Torch award in 2020 and celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021.
“We’ve built an incredible team with a lot of experience, and it’s great to recognize their hard work and dedication,” Fritz said. “It’s important to do business with like-minded business leaders who value integrity in business and in the community.”
