BAMKO, Los Angeles, announced that it has acquired the assets of Sutter’s Mill Specialties Inc., Tempe, Arizona. Sutter’s Mill reported promotional product revenue of approximately $ 24.5 million in the past 12 months.
“Over the years, we have been approached by many people interested in acquiring our business, but none have the culture, capabilities or energy that the BAMKO team is capable of instilling into our business” said the president of Sutter’s Mill Specialties. Jake Himelstein, President of BAMKO, said that the technological capabilities of Sutter’s Mill Specialties played an important role in the acquisition and that BAMKO will seek to integrate dispenser robotics and automation into its own proprietary software and operations. The acquisition, he said, also allows BAMKO to gain expertise in these areas.

The acquisition was completed on December 1, 2021. Financial details have not been made public at this time.

BAMKO has been active in mergers and acquisitions this year. In February, the company acquired Gifts by Design to strengthen its capabilities in the area of awards and recognition. In October, BAMKO announced it would expand further into the uniform space.
