With his first album in over a decade, “Electronic Generations”, released later this year, Carl Cox has announced that he has signed a brand new publishing deal with Concord Music Publishing.
“I’m really proud of ‘Electronic Generations’ and when I played it at Concord and saw them smiling, I knew it would be a good home for me,” says Cox. “They understand and they understand who I am – and that means they can help me spread my sound far and wide”.
Harri Davies, Senior A&R Director at Concord Music Publishing, adds, “There is no greater icon and personality in dance music than the mighty Carl Cox. Concord is honored and more than proud to represent his upcoming catalog and music in the next chapter of his illustrious career.”
Confirming this enthusiasm, EVP Worldwide A&R Kim Frankiewicz said, “Carl has been at the top of his game for 40 years and continues to be ever-present at the center of dance culture. It’s truly a ‘pinch for me’ moment that Carl joins us at Concord, not only with his fantastic lineup, but also his new music that we can’t wait for the world to hear!
Cox signed a new recording contract with BMG last year. “Electronic Generations” is set to be released on September 16 and it will play at Wembley Arena the following night.
