Frontgrid partners with ASI as the exclusive distributor of ParadropVR in the MENA region

Front grille announced its exclusive distribution partnership with International amusement services (ASI), which is intended to support the continued growth and success of ParadropVR.

ASI will now become the exclusive distributor of Frontgrid in the Middle East, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates; as well as Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco.

ParadropVRa virtual reality flight experience, is now in 11 countries around the world and counting and the move will provide further impetus towards market penetration as well as increased in-country support for the region.

Frontgrid CEO Matt Wells said, “We look forward to working with Prakash Vivekanand and the wider ASI team. The partnership was born from an original conversation about two units that will be installed in Kuwait in 2022. The conversation and the relationship grew from there.

The partnership means that ParadropVR customers will benefit from ASI’s local knowledge, logistics and installation capability; as well as localized post-installation support and its existing established and trusted customer relationships.

“At ASI, we are always looking to add unique products and experiences to our well-curated product lineup,” said Prakash Vivekanand, Managing Director of ASI, Frontgrid’s distribution partner in the MENA region. “We are delighted to partner with Matt Wells and Frontgrid as the exclusive distributor in the Middle East region for Paradrop VR. Unlike any other sports-based VR game, ParadropVR provides users with a remarkably realistic immersion of a skydiving experience and our expectations of entertainment, experience, engagement, and player interaction. The Paradrop VR facility in Dubai has already proven to be very popular among gamers, generates brilliant revenue, and the competitive skill-based nature of the gameplay drives a high level of repetition. I am sure we will build on this success and achieve many more Paradrop VR installations in the region.

ASI will distribute both ParadropVR Rize and ParadropVR capsule, two motion-based hardware models that create the sensation of flying. Frontgrid also has the in-house capability to create bespoke VR games, to create virtual tourism experiences flying over any environment you can imagine in VR.

Frontgrid will be present at the next Dubai Entertainment and Leisure Fair (DEAL) at the Dubai World Trade Center from March 28-30, exhibiting with ASI at their stand.
