Hiram & Solomon becomes exclusive US distributor for SZ Wholesale

Hiram & Solomon has announced that it has entered into an agreement with SZ Wholesale to make Bensalem, Pa. its exclusive distributor in the United States.

“We are thrilled to partner with SZ Wholesale and continue our mission to bring everyone together in harmony for a great cigar,” Fouad and Romy Kashouty of Hiram & Solomon said in a press release. “We are thrilled to partner with a dynamic distributor who understands our brand and adapts to our needs and requirements, and will provide excellent service to our family of retailers in the United States.”

SZ Wholesale is a wholesaler for a number of premium cigar brands, as well as cigar accessory companies. In late April 2022, the company was named the exclusive US distributor of Reinado Cigars.

“Fouad and I have been friends for a long time, and I am thrilled to work with him to help take Hiram & Solomon to the next level,” said Sahil Ambani, president of SZ Wholesale, in a press release. “We will strive to leverage our distribution channels to provide exceptional service to existing and future Hiram & Solomon customers.”

This is the third major announcement Hiram & Solomon has made regarding its portfolio this year; in early June, the company announced that it had terminated its relationship with Blanco Cigar Co., which included import, warehousing, order fulfillment, invoicing, and administrative responsibilities. Just two weeks later, the company announced that it had transferred all of its production to PDR Cigars.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – each cigar you light is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggles and stories. For me, it’s so much more than the cigar – it’s the story behind it, the experience of appreciating the work of artisans, and how a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with the half-wheel, I am the PA announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as the Salt River Rafters of the League. Fall of Arizona, the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA and the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I’m a voice-over artist. Previously, I covered the Phoenix and National cigar scene for Examiner.com, and served as an editor for cigar snob magazine.
