Ogle Models installed a EOS P 770 Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printing platform allowing the company to print parts up to one meter in length.

The 3D printing service provider, who has worked with EOS for more than 20 years, exhibits at the show TCT 3SIXTY in Birmingham, UK this week.

With its roots in prototyping and model making, Ogle Models is a long-time user of additive manufacturing technology, using FDM, SLA and SLS technologies. Over the years, the company has also started producing working models and test and production parts for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, architecture, film and television, medical and construction. product design.

By investing in the EOS P 770 platform, Ogle Models now has the ability to print parts up to one meter. The EOS P 770 system also excels in flexibility, part quality and cost reduction, while offering optimized temperature management, improved recovery speed, and high power lasers that help reduce build time. and the cost per part. EOS supported the P 770 machine with 10 different materials and 19 sets of material layer parameters and ensured dimensional accuracy throughout the build area by using the EOSAME function to closely monitor the energy input of its double lasers.

“We believe the new EOS machine will bring something exciting to many of our customers,” commented Philip Martin, Director of Ogle Models. “SLS is used in a variety of business areas including models, functional prototyping, pre-production part development, and exhibition models to name a few. The increased build space will allow us to explore new ideas with our customers, and even combine builds for greater efficiency, shorter delivery times and lower costs, while maintaining our reputation for quality finishes. exceptional finish.

Davide Iacovelli, EMEA Regional Director at EOS, added: “Ogle has long explored and proven the capabilities of 3D printing, as evidenced by its success and diverse range of services. The fact that it has chosen the EOS P 770 as a new system to support its future growth and service offering is a source of pride for EOS and we look forward to seeing the projects it delivers.

Ogle Models will be exhibiting at booth J41 at TCT 3SIXTY from September 28th to 30th.
