POS and Auto ID distributor moves to newly refurbished Brighton office

Jarltech, a leading European distributor of point of sale systems and automatic identification equipment, has completed the relocation of its UK operations to newly refurbished offices in Brighton town centre. The work to fit out the 330m² office space, valued at £125,000, was carried out by BRAC Contracts.

The move to Aspect House on Queens Road is part of Jarltech’s strategy to be better located for existing and future customers as it seeks further growth. UK&I Country Manager Harriette Wysocki comments on why this has proven to be the perfect location.

“With a UK-wide clientele, being located close to strong transport links is vital and with the return to face-to-face meetings, having restaurants and bars close by to entertain these clients is a bonus. .


“We’ve visited countless offices, but Aspect House not only ticked the boxes in terms of location, but also provided us with a blank canvas to really make the space our own.”

Local property advisers, Flude, negotiated the rental of 3rd floor to Jarltech and recommended BRAC contracts to carry out the Class B fit-out. Work included M&E alterations, stud and glass partitions to create separate office spaces, installation of a kitchen and rest areas, and internal finishes, including carpeting.

Harriet continues:

“Having never managed a project like this before, it was extremely reassuring to work with a team like BRAC. I was involved in all aspects of the fit-out, but they advised me with honesty and transparency and really helped me realize the vision for our new offices. Myself and the team of 20 people based here are delighted with our new surroundings.

“I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BRAC Contracts to other companies looking to complete a commercial fit-out and, in fact, I have already done so to another new tenant here at Aspect House!”
