Distribution of the Milton Keynes Citizen will be on hold from next week, following the government’s announcement on Monday restricting free movement – but we’re not leaving!
In these exceptional times, we were informed by our third party company which distributes the MK Citizen, that it could no longer guarantee to be able to distribute the paper to households. This means that at this time we can no longer produce the MK Citizen in print.
So this will be the last edition for the foreseeable future, but we will be constantly reviewing the government advice on movement of people and working with our distributor.
We’re all too aware of the important role we play in our communities, providing our readers with vital information at a critical time – and connecting our communities through the news and information we serve. We also recognize the need to help support our advertisers who are an integral part of our publishing business.
We would like to assure you that we will continue to do so via our website, www.miltonkeynes.co.uk and social media.
We will constantly update our website with relevant information and ask that you continue to give us your news, views and send your photos to [email protected] so that we can help account for our local communities.
Our sales teams will be happy to help our advertisers get through this difficult period.
We have a long history of working together in good times and in bad times. These are the toughest weeks and months to come, but together we’ll go through them.
Thank you for your continued support.
