“Traffic signaling infrastructure is an important part of any new road construction, and we are delighted to be working with Yunex Traffic to deliver the work at PWDR,” said John Holding, senior project manager for PWDR at Costain. “We look forward to the successful completion of a project that will bring substantial benefits to the region and beyond.”
The new road will link the A583/A584 to a new junction on the M55 via a four kilometer dual carriageway, with link roads to new settlements in Cottam and North West Preston.
“We are delighted to work with our colleagues at Costain to provide the most advanced technology to optimize traffic flow on this important road,” said Wilke Reints, MD for Yunex Traffic in the UK. “Not only will this bring major improvements to travel for those who live, work and study in the area, but it will also make this stretch of road safer for all road users, including pedestrians and cyclists. We are proud to carry out this project.
For all 11 venues, Yunex Traffic will supply a range of equipment, including its proven, energy-efficient ST950 ELV traffic lights, all designed and manufactured in the company’s UK factory.
